Energy Scheduling & Portfolio Lead

📋 Description

• Own live view of energy availability risk and need for Anthropic’s data center portfolio, aligning
• Coordinate with LSEs, QSEs, scheduling coordinators, and utilities in ISO/RTO markets (e.g., ERCOT)
• Predict and track curtailment, navigate shortage pricing, emergency procedures, and related
• Oversee contracted energy load-flexibility and demand-response across utilities and ISOs; align
• Manage counterparty exposure under ESAs and utility load agreements; ensure operability with legal
• Determine gas scheduling needs for behind-the-meter gas-fired supply and manage gas-plant outages

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in energy markets, power scheduling, procurement, or utility operations; hands-on
• Experience with LSE/QSE/retail energy providers; knowledge of day-ahead and real-time scheduling
• Fluent with ESAs, PPAs, interconnections; ability to model exposure and operate scheduling and
• Proven ability to predict curtailment and navigate reliability events; understanding of gas
• Experience with energy data, metering systems, and forecasting models; ability to tie forecasts to
• Collaborative cross-functional skills with finance, operations, legal, and origination; experience

🎁 Benefits

• Annual salary range: $320,000 – $405,000 USD
