Energy Support Social Worker

📋 Description

• Support customers with diverse needs via assessments and support plans
• Refer to local authorities when appropriate and manage safeguarding concerns
• Assess needs, consider ability to pay, and advise on best support actions
• Signpost to sources of help and offer appropriate support packages
• Follow up to ensure case resolution; coordinate with other agencies
• Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Social Work Degree and current registration with Social Work England
• Ideally 5+ years post-qualifying experience; ASYE required
• Practice Educator qualification highly desired
• Experience in adult social care, interest in mental health teams (APMs welcomed)
• Ability to use initiative with sensitive customer scenarios
• Good rapport-building skills and willingness to apply social work skills in a new industry
