Engineer II, Structural Analysis (R4952)

📋 Description

• Build and refine finite element models (FEM) for UAV components
• Perform static, modal, fatigue, and vibration analyses
• Conduct hand calculations to validate FEA results
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize airframe structures
• Develop test plans for structural validation (quasi-static, vibration, shock)
• Analyze flight telemetry and test data to improve models

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 2+ years in structural analysis or aircraft loads analysis
• Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, NASTRAN, HyperWorks)
• Hand calculations for structural strength, stability, fatigue
• Knowledge of composite materials and lightweight aerospace structures
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, MATLAB, Python)
