• The Engineering Apprentice shall develop and apply engineering principles to create innovative
• Produce accurate structural calculations for customer review and sizing of all structural elements.
• Follow DIS-TRAN design standards and applicable building codes for substation design.
• Create efficient steel designs that meet codes, customer specs, and equipment needs.
• Work with Structural Design Coordinators to generate accurate structural models for design input.
• Check structural models before calculations are submitted for a project.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency with Inventor; knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, organization, and writing skills.
• Understanding of electrical clearance requirements and substation design basics.
