Engineering Manager (100% Remote EMEA) - Cloud Computing

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a compute/platform engineering team.
• Drive reliable, scalable compute platform architecture.
• Contribute hands-on design for core compute services.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Backend teams.
• Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and coaching.
• Foster ownership, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in software engineering, incl. 2+ years in leadership.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS: EC2, ECS, Lambda, IAM).
• Backend systems built with Golang.
• Track record in infrastructure, platform engineering, reliability, observability.
• Familiar with Kubernetes, containers, Istio/Envoy service mesh.
• IaC experience: Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK.
