Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Own the health, output and growth of distributed engineering teams across time zones
• Partner with product management to shape roadmap and outcomes
• Set and maintain quality: observability, reliability, testing
• Run the delivery cadence: planning, prioritisation, retrospectives, unblock work
• Manage cross-team dependencies and communications to avoid gaps
• Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives (standards, tooling, growth)

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years managing teams of five+ engineers
• Strong technical depth to guide architectural decisions
• Experience partnering with product management to define priorities
• Track record hiring, onboarding, and retaining great people
• Focus on engineering quality: observability, analytics, testing
• Familiar with core stack (Go/Scala, React/TS) and cloud (AWS) with Kubernetes
