Engineering Manager - AI Product (100% Remote EMEA)

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and grow a small AI engineering team
• Drive architectural direction for AI product, focusing on inference performance, reliability, cost
• Hands-on design/implementation of core AI systems (model serving, inference pipelines, retrieval
• Own end-to-end AI/ML platform: GPU capacity, deployment/versioning, data/embedding pipelines
• Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, Security, and Backend teams to align priorities
• Foster ownership and continuous improvement; translate strategy into execution

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years software engineering experience; 2+ years in tech leadership/engineering management
• Proven experience with AI/ML platform or inference infrastructure in production
• Strong Python; experience with Go, Rust, or similar is a plus
• Hands-on familiarity with modern LLM stack; model APIs, retrieval/vector databases, and prompts
• Cloud and GPU compute expertise (AWS preferred); Docker/Kubernetes; IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK)
• CI/CD automation knowledge; Linux, networking, monitoring/alerting
