Engineering Manager - AI Product

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of AI engineers, fostering ownership and collaboration.
• Define the technical vision and architecture for the AI product with focus on performance
• Contribute hands-on to design and optimization of production AI systems (model serving, inference
• Oversee the AI platform, including GPU infra, deployment, versioning, embedding pipelines
• Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, Security, and Backend teams to align priorities and
• Conduct regular performance reviews and mentoring, translating objectives into execution plans.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in software engineering; at least 2 years in engineering management or technical
• Proven experience building/operating production AI/ML platforms, with model serving, GPU workloads
• Strong backend skills with Python; distributed systems; Go/Rust a plus.
• Hands-on with modern LLM tech: model APIs, open-weight models, serving frameworks, vector
• Understanding of AI quality evaluation, benchmarking, observability, regression testing, and
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, containerization, IaC, CI/CD, Linux, networking, and monitoring
