Engineering Manager, Data Platform

📋 Description

• Manage and grow a team of 5-6 engineers across Data storage, Feature Store/ML Platform, and
• Set execution and technical strategy for data infrastructure (Databricks, Airflow, dbt), ML
• Stay hands-on with design/code reviews and drive architecture on high-priority initiatives.
• Own reliability and on-call processes, with incident response, SLAs, and recoverability.
• Partner with underwriting data science and product teams; represent roadmap to cross-functional

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering experience; 2+ years in technical leadership/engineering management
• Strong data stack knowledge: Spark/PySpark, Databricks, Airflow, AWS.
• ML infrastructure concepts: feature stores, model training/serving pipelines, model registries
• Proven team leadership, hiring, and career development; ability to navigate ambiguity and
