Engineering Manager, Frontend

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and grow the Frontend team; hiring and performance management.
• Define team goals and technical roadmaps aligned with company priorities.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and accessibility of frontend experiences.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to translate mission needs into specs.
• Drive engineering best practices: reviews, testing, observability.
• Manage capacity, staffing, and growth across a growing frontend org.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS in CS or related field or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years software engineering and 3+ years managing teams.
• Direct experience managing frontend/web/product engineering teams (hiring, coaching).
• Strong frontend background with TypeScript or Flow and modern web architecture.
• Production web apps with reliability, performance, and accessibility requirements.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and static analysis enforcement; clean code.
