Engineering Manager, Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Lead and grow Kikoff's infrastructure team across five areas: Observability, Developer
• Set technical direction and run infrastructure as a product for engineers.
• Review code and designs, make architecture calls, unblock the team when needed.
• Own allocation of work, build sustainable on-call models, and provide clear ownership and growth
• Lead through incidents and improve systems to prevent recurrence.
• Tune tradeoffs between speed, reliability, and cost as the company scales.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience and 2+ years managing engineers or equivalent leadership track
• Strong infrastructure foundation; able to review code/designs and contribute directly when needed.
• Experience operating production systems, handling incidents, and postmortem improvements.
• Track record of hiring, coaching, and developing engineers; can define what good looks like.
• Experience setting technical direction and turning ambiguous problems into actionable roadmaps.
• Comfort making decisions with incomplete information and communicating clearly with engineers and
