Engineering Manager, Kubernetes Observability

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor Go and Python engineers; foster growth and code ownership.
• Support Kubernetes agents across versions: K8s, OpenShift, Rancher, Windows, OKE.
• Drive technical strategy for Kubernetes integrations and OpenTelemetry conventions.
• Deliver end-to-end value: instrumentation agents, Helm charts, backend services, and UI.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, Designers, and other engineering teams.
• Champion operational excellence: DevOps, incident response, and on-call rotations.

🎯 Requirements

• Engineering Experience: 8+ years in software engineering with distributed systems.
• Leadership Track Record: 2+ years directly managing and scaling teams.
• Domain Expertise: Kubernetes architectures; scale for multi-cloud containerized environments (EKS/AKS/GKE).
• Technical Fluency: Go and/or Python; Linux; API development.
• Customer & Incident Focus: experience handling customer incidents and mitigating prod risks.
• Problem Solving: strong analytical and autonomous troubleshooting.
