Engineering Manager, Notifications Platform

📋 Description

• Lead the team that architects, builds, and operates the Notifications Platform/Foundations at
• Set technical direction for shared platform capabilities spanning notification APIs, eventing and
• Collaborate with adjacent Notifications ML teams to productionize ML-powered notification systems
• Partner with product and engineering teams to define platform contracts and improve developer
• Drive full development lifecycle: design, develop, test, deploy, operate, and improve highly
• Establish reliability, scalability, performance, privacy, security, and operational excellence

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building and managing engineering teams.
• 5+ years as a Software Engineer or Engineering Manager building large-scale distributed systems or
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, event-driven systems
• Hands-on experience with highly available, low-latency services and operational excellence
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, data storage, streaming or messaging systems, and
• Experience setting technical direction for platform teams balancing consistency, extensibility, and
