Engineering Manager Scheduling Team (x/f/m)

📋 Description

• Lead a team of 6-7 engineers in Berlin, owning delivery and quality end to end
• Define mission/vision with product partner and build a defendable roadmap
• Shape technical direction, migrate core scheduling from monolith to services
• Set security, reliability, performance and scalability standards
• Collaborate with Talent to recruit, develop and retain engineers
• Embed AI-assisted engineering with clear pros/cons

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years software engineering experience
• 3+ years engineering management, leading 5+ engineers
• Credible with senior backend engineers, distributed systems focus
• Hands-on with modernising a large legacy system
• Strong communication, translating goals to team objectives
• Solution-oriented, objective decision making
