📋 Description

• Establish and scale Perplexity's London office
• Lead infrastructure and AI infrastructure teams (5-15+ engineers)
• Set technical direction for London-based infrastructure initiatives
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive site operations
• Build a high-performance engineering culture in London

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years software engineering, 5+ years in infrastructure/AI infra
• 3+ years people management; proven site/office building experience
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), infra automation
• Experience supporting large-scale AI/ML systems (GPU infra, training/inference, model serving)
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, container orchestration, CI/CD
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
