Engineering Team Lead - Email Security (Imunify Email & Email Gateway)

📋 Description

• Lead a distributed engineering team for an email security product line.
• Own architecture discussions, code quality, and production reliability.
• Guide technical direction, design decisions, and scalable solutions.
• Maintain production reliability via SLOs, monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Hands-on engineering participation: reviews, debugging, complex problems.
• Incident leadership during product issues and post-incident follow-ups.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years as a software engineer; 2+ years leading teams or managing engineers.
• Proven experience with distributed backend services in production.
• Strong Linux background; able to review production code and troubleshoot live systems.
• Hands-on Go and/or Python development; understanding of backend architecture and reliability.
• Experience making architectural decisions in complex domains; quick to gain new expertise.
• Strong observability with Grafana, Elasticsearch/Kibana, Redash, or equivalents.
