📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a distributed engineering team, focusing on architecture, code quality, production
• Translate product priorities into realistic plans; manage release cycles and dependencies.
• Uphold engineering quality standards with testing, performance metrics, and rollback strategies.
• Drive technical direction by evaluating architecture, design decisions, and scalable solutions.
• Oversee production reliability, SLOs, monitoring, capacity planning, and security-focused ops.
• Engage in hands-on design reviews, code reviews, debugging, and complex problem solving.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years as a software engineer; 2+ years leading teams or managing engineers.
• Proven experience delivering and operating distributed backend services in production.
• Strong Linux background; ability to review production code and troubleshoot live systems.
• Hands-on Go and/or Python development; understanding of backend architecture and service
• Experience making architectural decisions in complex domains; quickly assimilates new areas.
• Strong knowledge of observability and data tools (Grafana, Elasticsearch/Kibana, Redash or
