Engineering Team Leader - Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 8–10 systems and backend engineers.
• Own the vision and roadmap for the platform layer of the Bidding Platform.
• Define the team's evolving scope as the platform scales.
• Delegate ownership of platform areas (monitoring, deployment, security) to senior engineers.
• Deliver self-service platforms with clear usage contracts.
• Base decisions on data and run experiments to validate ideas.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in a technical leadership role (Team Lead / Engineering Manager).
• Hands-on background in distributed systems and systems engineering.
• Knowledge of concurrent programming and distributed systems.
• Experience building platform capabilities as products for other teams, with usage contracts.
• Comfortable owning a technical area end-to-end and communicating across teams.
• C1-level English and Polish fluency.
