📋 Description

• Assessing and underwriting enhanced annuity applications in line with business guidelines and risk
• Gathering and evaluating medical, financial and supporting information to inform accurate
• Delivering fair and balanced outcomes that meet customer needs while managing financial risk
• Using product, process and systems knowledge to provide an efficient and high-quality service
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and contributing to continuous improvement
• Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to enhance customer outcomes and service delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in medical underwriting, or a strong background in the healthcare/medical field
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and make sound decisions
• Knowledge of medical risk factors and their impact on underwriting outcomes
• Good understanding of financial services, market conditions and commercial considerations
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain decisions clearly and effectively
• Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships across teams
