Environment, Health and Safety Specialist

📋 Description

• Lead EHS across the EMEA region (UK, Ireland, continental Europe).
• Manage inspections, hazard/risk assessments, ergonomic reviews, and occupational health cases.
• Coordinate health and safety committees, emergency response, and external partnerships with
• Co-build EMEA-specific EHS programs aligned to UK/Irish/EU requirements and new-country stand-ups.
• Serve as in-region EHS expert, translating regulations into actionable programs and SOPs.
• Partner with US EHS Lead and regional Workplace, Security, HR, and Legal teams to scale safety

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of regional EHS experience or lead role in geography.
• Strong knowledge of UK/Ireland EHS regs (HSE, HSA) and ideally additional EU jurisdictions (France
• Experience with fire safety regulation and compliance (RRFO, Irish/German equivalents); Fire Risk
• Ability to own EHS decisions, push back when unsafe, and write clear SOPs/playbooks/training.
• Hands-on experience with EHS software for incident reporting, risk assessment, and LMS.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field; NEBOSH Diploma and IOSH or EU equivalents are a plus.
