Environmental Health & Safety Manager, Data Center Construction and Operations

📋 Description

• Own EHS across construction, commissioning, and operations for data centers.
• Partner with EHS Lead, construction, infrastructure, operations, and vendor teams.
• Set expectations with contractors and maintain safety on multi-employer worksites.
• Lead field safety presence and stop unsafe work when needed.
• Drive safety culture across geographically distributed sites.
• Develop safety standards and programs for new builds and ongoing ops.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of EHS experience in construction, data centers, or heavy industrial projects.
• Strong expertise in contractor safety, prequalification, safety plans, and permitting.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926, 29 CFR 1910, NFPA 70E, lockout/tagout, fall protection.
• Ability to lead as safety authority on active worksites and enforce safety across teams.
• Experience building programs across distributed sites and coordinating with partners.
• Hands-on with safety software for contractor management, incident reporting, and risk assessment.
