Estimator – General Construction

📋 Description

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using drawings, specifications and project docs.
• Prepare accurate budgets, cost estimates and bid proposals for U.S. construction projects.
• Review plans and requirements to identify scope, quantities, exclusions, discrepancies and risks.
• Prepare bid docs and RFQ responses as required.
• Review subcontractor submittals against drawings and specs to identify gaps.
• Coordinate with contractors/subcontractors during pre-construction to obtain pricing and clarify

🎯 Requirements

• 3–10+ years of construction estimating experience, with hands-on estimating and takeoffs.
• Proven experience estimating U.S. construction projects.
• Strong ability to read/interpret construction drawings and docs.
• Experience preparing detailed takeoffs, budgets, cost estimates and bids.
• Familiarity with construction estimating software and digital workflows.
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam; familiarity with Autodesk Build and AI-assisted estimating tools
