📋 Description

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects.
• Review drawings, specs, bid packages to determine scope requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, controls, insulation.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Create estimates for negotiated, hard bid, design-build, design-assist.
• Analyze risks, scope gaps, scheduling, and constructability during preconstruction.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience estimating mechanical construction projects.
• Experience pricing commercial/industrial HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Background for design-build and plan-and-spec projects.
• Proven takeoff skills and ability to develop budgets.
• Knowledge of HVAC, hydronic, boiler, chiller, VRF, and controls systems.
• Proficiency with estimating software, digital takeoff tools, MS Office.
