Facility Security Officer

📋 Description

• Manage and coordinate industrial security programs for DoD and federal contracts across multiple
• Oversee personnel clearance processes, documentation, training, access controls, and compliance
• Serve as a point of contact for employees, leadership, and government security representatives.
• Ensure adherence to NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and applicable federal security policies.
• Support inspections, incident investigations, Insider Threat activities, and security education
• Manage security requirements for a large distributed workforce with strong organizational skills.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years as a Facility Security Officer or 5+ years as an Assistant Facility Security Officer.
• 7+ years supporting government contracting environments.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Completion of STEPP’s FSO Orientation or ability to complete within 3 months.
• Strong understanding of government contract lifecycle and DoD/federal security requirements.
• Experience with 32 CFR Part 117 / NISPOM and related security processes.
