Failure Analysis Engineer (Semiconductor / Electronics)

📋 Description

• Onsite role in Sunnyvale, CA with typical M–F daytime hours
• Evaluate electrical and mechanical characteristics to determine failure causes
• Analyze failure reports and recommend corrective actions
• Develop methods, processes, and equipment to improve analysis
• Interface with external customers and lead a cohesive team
• Work with advanced tools to design and execute analytical plans

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of direct semiconductor/electronics failure analysis experience
• Hands-on: ATE datalog, curve trace, oscilloscope, CV measurement
• Experience with X-ray, Scanning Acoustic Microscopy (C-SAM)
• Knowledge of OBIRCH, XIVA, IR Thermography, LVP/LTP, SDL/LADA
• Deprocessing, chemical etching, plasma etching, cross sectioning, SEM/EDS
