Field Service Engineer

📋 Description

• Install, commission, and maintain TOMRA sorting machines at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electromechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and retrofits.
• Support customers with training and best practices for daily machine operation.
• Document service activities and provide feedback to internal teams for improvement.
• Collaborate with service, engineering, and sales to deliver a high-quality customer experience.

🎯 Requirements

• Mechanical education or proven practical experience in a mechanical field service role.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Field Service Engineer position.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems (pneumatics, hydraulics, rotating equipment).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and controls is desirable.
• Comfortable working in industrial environments and on-site with customers.
• Independent, solution-oriented with strong communication and customer-first mindset.
