Field Service Engineer (Food Processing Machinery)

📋 Description

• Install, commission, and maintain TOMRA sorting equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Deliver remote and on-site technical support as required.
• Train customers in proper machine operation and maintenance.
• Document and submit detailed service reports to support continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Electronics, Electrotechnical, Automation, or similar technical field (or equivalent
• Experience in on-site installation, preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Strong understanding of IT, networking, and PC configuration.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
• Excellent English communication skills (Afrikaans is an advantage).
• Nice to have: experience within the food industry or sorting technologies; familiarity with PLCs
