Field Service Engineer I/II

📋 Description

• Perform calibrations, qualifications and repairs on small laboratory instrumentation in field and
• Calibrate and PM various lab equipment including pipettes, balances, centrifuges, thermometers.
• Travel to customer sites for calibrations and PMs; manage personal parts inventory.
• Provide feedback on issues affecting service delivery and turnaround times.
• Complete administrative paperwork and maintain GDP documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients and comply with SOPs and safety guidelines.

🎯 Requirements

• Two-year degree in a related science field plus 0-1 years (FSE I) or 1-3 years (FSE II) experience.
• Experience calibrating pipettes and/or balances (FSE II).
• Physical ability to lift transport equipment; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; self-motivated and proactive.
• Ability to travel within customer territory to 1-2 days per week; occasional overnight travel.
