Field Technician I

📋 Description

• The Field Technician collects samples and performs observation/inspection for lab analysis.
• Under supervision, executes job functions and prepares samples for analysis.
• Collects samples from product/raw materials during transfer to containers/vehicles.
• Labels containers with data, location, date, and time of collection.
• Delivers samples to the laboratory for analysis and prep work.
• Performs sample prep, reduction, and division of sizes as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Day shift 8am-4pm; some overtime may occur.
• High School or equivalent required; no experience required unless state law.
• Driver’s license may be required if driving company vehicle.
• May require TWIC and 24-hour MSHA certification.
• Local day travel may be required; overnight travel occasionally.
• Equipment may include Jaw Crusher, Pulverizing Mills, Filters, Splitters, and ovens.
