Financial Control Manager

📋 Description

• Support the Head of Financial Control across Retail Finance
• Lead reviews of financial controls and governance
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls
• Prepare and review balance sheet reports with accuracy and transparency
• Provide management information on reporting and risk indicators
• Coach a junior colleague and collaborate across Retail and Group

🎯 Requirements

• A qualified accountant or equivalent experience
• Experience in financial control, reporting or financial controller work
• Strong knowledge of financial control frameworks, governance and risk management
• Understanding of insurance accounting, actuarial processes and regulatory reporting (IFRS, Solvency
• Experience managing reporting cycles, balance sheet activity, technical accounting judgements and
• Analytical, collaborative with stakeholder engagement and a continuous improvement mindset
