Forward Deployed Engineer

📋 Description

• Embed with strategic customers to drive AI adoption and ship production applications using Claude
• Collaborate with Post-Sales, Product, and Engineering to understand customer workflows and address
• Operate autonomously in enterprise environments, representing Anthropic at customer sites.
• Travel to customer sites as needed (approx. 25%).

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in a technical, customer-facing role (e.g., FDE or software engineer with consulting).
• Production experience with LLMs, including prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation
• Strong Python skills; experience with additional languages (e.g., TypeScript, Java) and shipping
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and collaborate across organizations with integrity.
• Excellent communication to conduct discovery and convey concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Background in enterprise domains (e.g., financial services, healthcare) is a plus.
