Forward Deployed Engineer - Portworx

📋 Description

• Embed with customers during high-stakes Kubernetes storage deployments
• Design production Portworx architectures for complex environments
• Lead hands-on implementation: storage class design, topology, replication, and sizing
• Validate architectures in lab before on-site travel
• Build runbooks, reference architectures, and automation for reusable IP
• Upskill customer platform teams for independent operation post-handoff

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering, SRE, or field/solutions engineering
• Deep Kubernetes expertise (production experience with clusters)
• Strong understanding of SAN/NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NVMe/TCP, multipath, LVM
• Solid Linux systems administration
• Experience across on-prem and cloud/CaaS deployments
• Understanding of customer development environments (CI/CD, deployment patterns)
