Funding Verification Specialist - Remote

📋 Description

• Verify insurance benefits and determine funding options for device trials and procurement
• Assess case viability and potential reimbursement prior to initiating a trial
• Communicate funding determinations to internal teams, patients, and care partners
• Maintain compliant documentation per HIPAA and organizational requirements
• Identify COB issues and coordinate with patients to resolve discrepancies
• Complete administrative functions related to sales activities in a timely manner

🎯 Requirements

• Knowledge of insurance plans, funding sources, and DME reimbursement
• Strong data entry, documentation, and organizational skills
• Effective verbal and written communication; customer-focused
• Ability to assess risk and exercise independent judgement within guidelines
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurance
• High School Diploma, Associate degree preferred; 3 years healthcare/benefits verification
