GCP Application Support Engineer

📋 Description

• Incident Management – Triage issues, root cause analysis, lead war rooms for outages while
• Deployment Operations – Deploy apps using Kubernetes, Helm, service mesh; pre/post validations and
• Observability & Monitoring – End-to-end observability with Datadog/Splunk; correlate API
• Security & Compliance – Harden GCP base AMIs, manage security exceptions, rotate credentials
• Support & Escalation – Participate in shift rotations, provide L2/L3 support, communicate

🎯 Requirements

• Cloud & Container Expertise – 4+ years with GCP and Kubernetes, including Helm and service mesh
• Monitoring & Observability – Datadog, Splunk, CloudWatch, or Grafana for dashboards and alerts
• Incident Management – ITIL/ITSM, on-call rotations, RCA, prod troubleshooting
• Security & Compliance – GCP security best practices, vulnerability management, secrets rotation
• CI/CD & Deployment – Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI; blue-green/canary deployments
• Networking & Troubleshooting – TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, VPC networking
