Manage day-to-day German GAAP and tax compliance for German and international entities
Assist with year-end statutory audits and tax returns
Manage relationships with outsourced providers for local entity compliance
Own VAT reporting and accounting for German entities
Reconcile US GAAP and German GAAP for German entities
Prepare and post journal entries with proper documentation

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Deep expertise in German GAAP, tax and core accounting principles
Experience in a US multinational with international subsidiaries
Knowledge of US GAAP
NetSuite and Sage Intacct experience; strong analytical skills and attention to detail
