Global Category Manager Principal - Electrical Equipment

📋 Description

• Lead sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of electrical equipment for data center development
• Manage full procurement lifecycle for HV transformers, transformers, circuit breakers, instrument
• Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Oversee end-to-end RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) from initiation through supplier selection and
• Drive supplier onboarding, qualification, and new product development processes.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to optimize outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years in procurement or supply chain management
• 3+ years focused on electrical systems or mission critical energy infrastructure
• Deep understanding of data center electrical systems and related vendors (OEMs/integrators)
• Experience in fast-paced, large-scale infrastructure or data center projects
• Proven track record in global procurement and supplier relationship management
