GNC Engineer - All Levels

📋 Description

• Own a distinct piece of the pointing chain from concept to first light
• Build and defend pointing and acquisition budgets
• Model, simulate, analyze platform dynamics and pointing performance
• Define interfaces with the bus vendor, the Lasercom PAT loop, and the optical seats
• Identify high-risk assumptions and retire them via simulation and testing
• Set and defend technical direction with incomplete data

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, physics, computer science, or related
• Fundamentals across GNC: attitude determination, orbit/ephemeris, and pointing
• Programming for modeling, analysis, or test (Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar)
• Comfort moving fast and making sound calls without complete data
• Familiarity with astrodynamics and simulation tools (STK, GMAT, FreeFlyer, Basilisk, or similar)
