• Build and own strategy for political and community engagement in southwestern cities
• Develop and maintain relationships with local officials, staff, regulators, and stakeholders
• Track current and emerging political activity and policy developments
• Represent Zoox at community and political events
• Manage locally based political consultants
• Support policy team via briefings, research, and cross-functional projects

🎯 Requirements

• Possess 8+ years of public policy experience across government, nonprofits, or industry groups
• Proven track record building, implementing, and evaluating complex policy initiatives
• Leverage an extensive political and community network in the LA area
• Understand political landscape and sentiment across diverse jurisdictions
• Exhibit leadership, project management, and organizational skills
• Conduct high level research and policy analysis
