Government Affairs Manager

📋 Description

• Maintain relationships with CAC/MIIT/MPS and related bureaus; coordinate requests.
• Track and drive timely responses for regulatory notifications and inspections; ensure documentation.
• Support execution of China-specific compliance programs.
• Monitor regulatory developments and enforcement campaigns; flag risks early and coordinate mitigations.
• Partner with Legal, Security/GRC, Product, BD, and Marketing to launch compliant features.
• Maintain organized GR records: notes, logs, calendars, regulator correspondence for audit readiness.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-8 years in government affairs, regulatory ops, or compliance in China tech/edtech; or with regulator-affiliated institutes.
• Coordinating inspections/filings and multi-stakeholder responses under tight timelines.
• Familiar with content governance, data privacy/cross-border transfer, AI supervision, minors-protection, or cybersecurity.
• Excellent organizational skills; meticulous in tracking actions and evidence.
• Clear Chinese with professional English for internal reporting.
• Hands-on internet company compliance and government engagements.
