Grower 1 assists with nursery production of forest seedlings at PRT Red Rock in Prince George, BC
Operate water, fertilization and greenhouse programs per Crop Prescriptions
Manage Argus environmental control for irrigation, climate and alarms
Monitor seedling growth using morphology and tissue analyses
Inspect for insects/disease and apply control measures
Train seasonal irrigation staff and maintain safety practices

🎯 Requirements

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Knowledge of greenhouse equipment and climate control
Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and maintain records
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied conditions
