Guest Educator I

📋 Description

• Conduct informal science, climate, and biodiversity education programs on the museum floor.
• Deliver programs using hands-on, play-based, experiential, and guest-centered methods.
• Engage diverse guests across ages; emphasis on early childhood to young adults.
• Use live animals, data visualization, and other technologies in programs.
• Collaborate with CAS scientists and exhibit teams.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 1 year of public speaking experience.
• Coursework or background in natural/environmental science, education, or science communication.
• Fundamental knowledge of best practices in museum interpretation and climate/biodiversity education.
• Excellent public speaking and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments and work independently or in teams.
• Fluency in a second language preferred.

🎁 Benefits

• Schedule: 35 hr/week, 9am - 4pm shifts, including weekends/holidays/evenings.
