Hardware Development Engineer, PCBA (STARLINK)

📋 Description

• Process engineering for PCBA manufacturing in Starlink hardware
• Lead new product introduction of PCBA assemblies; qualify equipment; design line layout and tooling
• Drive DFMs; automate high-reliability manufacturing; enable production teams to operate
• Identify trends to optimize output, quality, and manufacturability costs
• Scale processes for volume PCBA production; manage MES, nonconforming product, configuration

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, materials, manufacturing or related engineering
• 1+ years in manufacturing process engineering, SMT, reliability design, or PCB design/layout
• Hands-on experience with SMT/PCBA processes; knowledge of IPC standards
• Experience with SPC, DOE, and production metrics (CPK, yield, OEE)
• Proven track record developing new processes and transferring to production in fast-paced
• Competency with SQL and Python; experience with NX or CAD tooling
