Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Software/Firmware Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop software/firmware powering Waabi's HIL benches
• Build simulation interfaces feeding vehicle dynamics to embedded modules
• Implement automated test frameworks for real hardware
• Integrate HIL tests into CI for validated releases
• Develop instrumentation and data acquisition tooling
• Collaborate with Embedded, Autonomy, and V&V teams on test runs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in CS/CE/EE or equivalent
• 4+ years in HIL software, embedded test automation, or real-time systems
• Python; proficient in C/C++/Rust for embedded/real-time
• Experience with CAN and automotive Ethernet interfaces
• CI/test automation experience; hardware lab debugging skills
• Strong Linux skills and technical writing
