Head of Compliance & MLRO

📋 Description

• Lead UK Compliance Framework improvements (Consumer Duty, conduct risk, reporting, governance).
• Oversee complaints handling and policy in the Compliance team.
• Represent the firm to FCA, regulatory bodies and law enforcement; manage regulatory risk reporting.
• Develop monitoring programmes, training, and governance across UK Compliance & Financial Crime.
• Oversee regulatory incident investigations, breach management, and escalations.
• Collaborate with Group Compliance, Risk, Legal and Internal Audit on regulatory matters.

🎯 Requirements

• Current or recent approval as SMF16 and/or SMF17 or equivalent Senior Manager Function experience
• Proven leadership of a Compliance function in FCA regulated investment/fintech environment.
• In-depth knowledge of UK regulatory framework: FSMA, FCA Handbook, SMCR, Consumer Duty, UK MAR
• Track record of SAR submissions, sanctions program management, and regulatory reporting to
• Experience building and implementing Compliance & Financial Crime Frameworks and risk-based
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with FCA, Boards, and senior management.
