Head of Data Center Design

📋 Description

• Own the overall technical design, architecture, and engineering vision for large-scale data center
• Define and maintain Basis of Design, including modular POD architecture, cooling, power topology
• Establish design standards for IT deployment, rack layouts, containerization, and CDU placement.
• Lead multidisciplinary design reviews and approve drawings across trades.
• Set design-stage targets for PUE, capacity, availability, redundancy, reliability.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors and partners on technical specs and integration.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data center design or similar complex facilities; direct data center experience valued.
• Ownership of Basis of Design documentation for large-scale facilities.
• At least 3 years in design leadership or technical leadership.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution/topology and cooling strategies; fire suppression and
• Experience leading multidisciplinary reviews and cross-trade drawings approvals.
• Clear design standards translation and excellent stakeholder communication; English proficiency for
