Head of Data (Hybrid)

📋 Description

• Define and execute the organization's long-term data strategy aligned with business objectives
• Own the architecture and evolution of the enterprise data platform (ingest, transform, store, access)
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing data engineering team while establishing engineering standards
• Design scalable data governance frameworks covering ownership, quality, lineage, metadata, and stewardship
• Ensure platform security, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Drive adoption of self-service analytics by enabling teams to access trusted data
• Partner with senior leadership to translate priorities into technical roadmaps
• Establish delivery processes and roadmaps balancing needs with sustainability

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading enterprise data strategy and modern data platforms
• Extensive experience building and leading Data Engineering or Data Platform teams
• Strong expertise with cloud-based data architectures, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT
• Experience implementing governance, quality, lineage, and metadata stewardship
• Track record of scaling data capabilities and improving data maturity
• Experience delivering self-service analytics and enabling business adoption
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and data engineering best practices
• Experience engaging executive stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions through data
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Fluent English communication skills
