• Own regulatory interpretation across electricity, gas and environmental products.
• Translate frameworks into practical guidance on hedging and complex products.
• Embed REMIT, EMIR, and MiFID II into trading strategy and processes.
• Advise on regulatory treatment of emerging strategies (BESS, flexibility, renewables).
• Track regulatory developments across power, gas, carbon, and flexibility rules.
• Develop training to keep teams up to date on obligations and market impacts.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong energy wholesale market regulation experience (UK/EEA).
• Deep understanding of power and gas market design and trading structures.
• Hands-on REMIT, EMIR and MiFID II compliance knowledge.
• Exposure to environmental markets or carbon trading.
• Experience supporting trading operations or market-facing teams.
• Familiarity with BESS or demand flexibility strategies is valuable.
