Head of Engineering, Infrastructure & SRE

📋 Description

• Lead infrastructure and SRE for a cloud-agnostic platform handling high-scale traffic.
• Own architecture, reliability, and evolution of Postman’s infrastructure across multiple regions.
• Define technical direction for cloud infrastructure to enable autonomous product teams.
• Collaborate with platform, security, and product teams to align goals and constraints.
• Drive on-call, incident management, and blameless postmortems to improve resilience.
• Set SRE standards and best practices across the organization.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in infrastructure, platform, or SRE with 7+ years in leadership.
• Proven experience managing geographically distributed teams across time zones.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Cluster API, Argo, Helm, Crossplane; Istio and cloud providers (AWS
• Experience leading SRE function: SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, incident management.
• Ability to design cloud-agnostic infrastructure enabling autonomous engineering teams.
• Excellent communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
