Head of Global Policy

📋 Description

• Own Scale's global policy strategy across AI governance and procurement.
• Lead and grow a policy team; set priorities across a complex portfolio.
• Translate business objectives into policy outcomes.
• Represent Scale at trade associations, standards bodies, and coalitions.
• Brief exec leadership on regulatory and legislative developments.
• Lead responses to Rulemakings, RFIs, and regulatory proceedings.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years experience in Policy or government work.
• Experience securing consensus at trade associations/standards bodies.
• Experience leading responses to Rulemakings and RFIs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; startup/tech experience a plus.
• Technical policy experience in tech sector or government agencies.
• History of managing multiple work streams; TS/Secret clearance a plus.
