Head of Legal & Compliance

📋 Description

• Own the legal and compliance framework for AI-powered calling and dialer functions, incl. TCPA
• Partner with Product and Engineering to embed compliance in platform workflows and controls.
• Manage external legal advisors; decide what to escalate externally vs internally.
• Lead privacy program across GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and emerging US state privacy rules.
• Handle data-subject requests, opt-outs, and privacy operations.
• Own data sourcing, governance, DPIAs, and transfer impact assessments.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience; US admission.
• Deep privacy experience with GDPR/CCPA/CPRA; apply to products and data flows.
• Strong with Product/Engineering collaboration and technical decisions.
• Proven ability to build a legal/compliance function in growth environments.
• Understanding of data privacy, data sourcing, AI governance, regulatory risk.
• Experience with TCPA, telephony, dialer, consent is highly desirable.
